Video moments 

leave me outside on my deck
where the world goes by
so I can sit high in the tree tops where the leaves & breezes live

take off the watches
hide away all the faces even the clocks ~ please

I want to leave time behind 

Let me take my time to just live my day, to rest, to recover 

to feel the way light hits my face
to see how light passes through this treetop canopy
with its woodland spring green 
and translucent leaves

to see lengthening shadows as they simply & quietly walk past me
to feel breezes move as the day begins to warm from
cool morning air into warm afternoon

to hear the wind

Yes, let no time pass
On any man-made clock 

I would rather be on God’s time today 

I am part of this mighty earth and its sky winds

let me just be ~
