Haiku Poetry Group, Lake Ann, Nature, Winter, Written for NaPoWriMo

Good morning from the lakeside deck ~

I sit somewhat calm as the air rushes in through the open screen.

Today is like a sudden gust of spring, the air is warm and swirling from the south.

It comes to visit like neighborhood children ringing a door bell and then quickly running away as fast as they can before the door is opened.

Some haiku ~

Light parade
Soldiers standing tall
Mighty woods

Morning sun
I sit upon air
Swings swaying

Living In Light

sacred pause

asking god to stay

for you too #

Inspired by Reverend Pamela Cicioni passing along Mother Teresa’s words ~

There is a Light in this World, A Healing Spirit more powerful than any darkness we may encounter…

We sometimes lose sight of this force where there is suffering, too much pain…

Then suddenly the Spirit will emerge through the Lives of Ordinary People…

Who hear the call and answer in Extraordinary ways!!!

-Mother Teresa-

Good morning from the lakeside deck –

Good morning from the lakeside deck –

February has started out cold but not below freezing so a welcome relief.
Today I’m looking forward to inherent deliberations of present and future goals. Trying to reset my world!

My morning sky lights up
In a field of soft lavender clouds
The horizon sits sparkling in strawberry clusters
Making daybreak whole
Just walking among the treetops
