Good morning from the lakeside deck. It’s 82 degrees. It’s Going to be the hottest day so far this year, and there will be high humidity. Stay cool!

Gone are the days when we sat
Comfortably in our deck chairs
And listened to morning songs
Now I remember
You and I
Let the bluebirds sing their songs
Even when we are gone!

So poignant. This morning we have incessant rain–needed because of the drought, but so out of season What we really need is snow in the Sierra (next year.)
