Time gathered
And held close to my day
Framed by an open window
And a glorious garden gate
Overspreading sapphire blue morning glories
And red geramiums dancing in the dew
Summer oscillating
Right in tune with porch floor fans
Making a most gentle breeze
Nap time declared
Tucked in by my childhood memories
Clothesline laundry waving back at me
I chase white puffy clouds across blue blue skies
Ground cover made of Concord grapes, blueberries & mulberries
Forever mulberry stains
My bare feet, hands and face
Memories fill the afternoon air
I with a care free heart
Time is stolen
And I ~
I’m
brought back home!
oh what a lovely capture – and brought back some childhood memories myself… barefoot is the best in summer and just enjoying the spell of the moment
