blooms ever unfolding

held in palms of many hands

then we fallen upon the dust

find our fertile sacred lands

winds tossed into lost days

flags wave for lives left

in the name of freedom

the meaning is clear

like so many others

this my life was for you . . .

my brother 

my sister

my family

my neighbor

my country
