May spills out
days & days of red rose petals
blooms ever unfolding
held in palms of many hands

after morning rain
raindrops still linger
glistening in new sunshine
now only hushed mountain air
faint whispers of morning sounds
soften my day & spirit
music fills my heart
overflows my thoughts
catching my falling breath
I’m blinded but find my way
I walk only by the call
of spring!
Life’s Mask
life is heavy now
I live among my long lost
heart ache years
traveling a waiting journey
in both time and happenstance
finding out whether or not
