A Collection of my Poetry ~ haiku, tanka
don’t you see
it’s only me
playing
underneath my
dogwood tree
spring rains
lake Ann’s waters rise
flooded docks
a boom to now green trees
blooms of redbuds & pink dogwoods
along cream white shorelines
torn from this winter bed
surfacing to the great sky
climbing thru mighty earth
to touch the stars
sustain me
lean into me
see me for just me
Oh dear Jacquie ~ how very kind of you & a special thanks for stopping by! Means allot.
to me so glad u enjoyed. Take good care ~ j

Wonderful, Joanie. Got my start with verse by stringing haiku together. And I love tanka. Yours are lovely.
