My morning write:
Inspired by Mary Oliver
I go down to the shoreline
to melt my heart away
to feel the sky winds play
and to hear the rolling waves—
to take this hurt away
from living so many days.
Death, Friendship, Grief, Hope, Loving Spirit, Prayer, Spring

Hello, dear Kathleen! It’s so great to open my page and hear from you, my dear friend, again! I always think of you while I’m sitting on my deck overlooking Lake Ann and the Ozark ridges from here to there, where you used to live across the way from me. Miss you. Thank you for your kind words.
I am doing much better as I am up, walking, and driving myself to physical therapy appts. Trying to get stronger so I can walk longer and by myself. My goal is to walk the trails behind Allen’s Grocery down to Dairy Queen and Phat Tire. There is a trail that passes underneath Hwy 71! I think it would be grand!
I am still working on getting my poetry published. I have a publisher who is helping me, but my progress has been slow. Days pass where I don’t feel well, or just the pace of living is taking up a lot of my time right now. LOL I need a sabbatical!!
I hope you are doing well. How are you? Take good care, my dear friend, always! Joanie

Hello, old friend…we are on the cusp of another summer. It’s hard to believe we will have been gone from the Ozarks 6 years the end of August. Time moves river-wise, swiftly then slowly.
I hope you are enjoying Spring in all its glory in your little hideaway.
Sending much love, Kathleen
