thinly veiled
scattered gold sun rays
pierce moments

caught up in moments
“Please don’t take my life away!”
only you can see

you can see
my mind runs forward
time will tell

time chosen
planes drop killing bombs
children see

Pray for them
Sacred young children
pray for them
